Welcome

Willow Creek Estates

We are located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas. Our community is a deed restricted, single family per house community of nearly 500 home sites with only a few vacant lots remaining. Subdivision development began in the early 1970’s with Section 1 and continued through the early 2000’s when the final section of the family ranch was developed.

About Willow Creek Estates

Development began in the 1970’s. Over the next 30 years additional sections were developed with Section 12 being the last.

In the mid-1980’s, an upgraded section (The Ridge located on Willow Ridge Drive) was developed differently in that it has its own mandatory maintenance fees that were established by the developer and also has its own board of officers apart from WCHOA.

Later a second such upgraded section was developed called The Ridge II HOA. These two upgraded sections are also a part of the umbrella WCHOA and are easily identified by entrance signs and raised curbs.

The Willow Creek Homeowners Association, Inc. is registered with the State of Texas as a Domestic Nonprofit Corporation. The WCHOA Board consists of at least four officers and three directors elected each year. We invite all property owners, as well as renters, to join us in helping to preserve high standards of livability that our neighborhood enjoys.

WCHOA provides an effective forum for the discussion of such relevant issues such as signage, traffic problems, fire protection, police protection, and deed restriction compliance. We are diligent in the enforcement of our deed restricted, single-family neighborhood – in April 2003 we were successful with the District Court upholding our deed restrictions.

Parts of the WCHOA was annexed into the San Marcos City Limits several years ago. However, a few streets remain in the San Marcos ETJ. The purple dotted line on the map indicates the San Marcos City Limits. Everything outside the line is the San Marcos ETJ.
