The City of San Marcos is partnering with the Texas Department of Transportation to hold a Public Hearing for proposed improvements to the Wonder World Drive/Hunter Road intersection.
The proposed improvements include two pedestrian refuge islands, bicycle accommodations, bike lanes, and updated signing and striping.
Citizens will be able to view displays at the public hearing at 5:00 p.m. with the hearing starting at 5:30. City Engineers, TxDOT Engineers, and consulting staff will be on hand to answer questions and receive feedback.
The city and TxDOT will be accepting verbal comments during the public hearing. Written comments can be submitted in person or by mail to the City of San Marcos CIP/Engineering Department, 630 E. Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666, or emailed to EngInfo@sanmarcostx.gov.
Comments must be received on or before July 24, 2019, to be part of the official hearing record.
